Age verification is a legal requirement for adult websites in many jurisdictions. Sites that do not comply may face significant penalties.

How age verification works on SLR

We have partnered with Yoti, an age assurance provider, to verify that users are over 18.

We currently offer two verification methods:

• Age Estimation
• Yoti ID
• Card age verification

None of the methods require you to upload or store any identity documents.

Privacy and data protection

• Yoti only confirms to SLR that you are over 18
• No personal data is shared with SLR
• Facial scans used for age estimation are immediately deleted
• Scans are not linked to your identity or usage history
• Yoti’s age estimation technology has been independently audited by the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO)

Credit card age verification is already available for SLR.
