To enjoy the best VR experience on SexLikeReal, we recommend a stable 30 Mbps or higher internet connection. If you’re experiencing buffering or slow speeds, read this article or follow these steps to troubleshoot the issue.
- Check Your Internet Speed
- Run our speed test (you need to be logged in your SLR account)
- Ensure your download speed is at least 30 Mbps for smooth streaming.
- Try a Different Network
- Switch between Wi-Fi, mobile data (4G/5G), or a different network to see if performance improves.
- Use a VPN to test a different location, as network congestion or ISP throttling can affect speeds.
- Optimize Your Setup
- Use a supported VR headset with the latest firmware and the most up-to-date DeoVR app.
- Try using VR version of the website by visiting sexlikereal.com in Meta Quest Browser or Apple Vision Pro Safari.
- Ensure your modem/router is updated with the latest firmware for optimal performance.
- Make sure your Wi-Fi router has a clear line of sight to your headset (with no walls, mirrors, or other obstacles in between) and supports Wi-Fi 6 or newer.
Hotel Wi-Fi may block or misroute certain services, even when your headset is connected. If SLR doesn’t load, try changing the DNS settings on your headset.
- Open your headset’s Wi-Fi settings and select the hotel network.
- Open the network’s advanced settings and find the DNS setting.
- Switch DNS from automatic to manual and enter 1.1.1.1
- Save the settings and reconnect to the Wi-Fi network.
- Try opening SLR again.
- Adjust Network & Security Settings
- Temporarily disable or adjust firewall/antivirus settings that might block SLR streaming.
- Contact your ISP if speeds on SLR are significantly lower compared to other streaming services.
- Advanced Troubleshooting (Optional)
- If you've tried everything and still experience issues, contact SLR support with your IP address to check if Geo-DNS rerouting can improve your connection.
- If you live in an area with weak internet coverage, consider satellite options like Starlink for better speeds.
- Help Us Improve
- Share your speed test results and approximate location/region with us to help diagnose server or regional issues. Your reports help us improve streaming for everyone.
